Axel

Axle is a 2 year old American Bull Dog mix who probably weighs in the 50-60 lb range. Axle’s former family surrendered him because they said he left the yard and would not come back, but when you’re a dog who’s deaf, it’s pretty hard to know when someone is calling your name. Axle understands a few hand signals and needs to practice them more; he is playful and friendly, and gets along with most dogs; he loves to romp in the yard and checks in every so often for butt scratches and snuggles. Axle has no idea what the word “deaf” means or that being deaf might make him different from other dogs; for Axle, all the world is his oyster, and it’s always party time! To share some love and frivolity with Axle, contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, call 814-918-2032, or email: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org
PLEASE NOTE: Volunteers who work with our dogs are not always at the rescue center during public hours. Please make an appointment if you wish to be able to take a dog out of its kennel. Thank you
