Chips is a 9 month old, Bull Terrier/Lab mix who is courageous, full of spirit, and fun-loving. Chips is housebroken and smart; his previous owner taught him many commands including “sit,” “lay down,” “give paw,” “high five,” and “roll over.” Outside, Chips loves to express his inner puppy as he zooms around the yard, flinging his favorite toys up in the air. Chips is a strong, athletic dog who loves to play, but a gentle touch from the right person or people can turn him into a mushy marshmallow who loves to cuddle while you carry him around like a baby! He loves peanut butter. This character may do best in a home where he’ll be cherished as the only pet. No cats or small children please. He’ll respond well to your positive leadership and an active routine. Note: Volunteers who work with our dogs are not always at the rescue center during public hours. Please make an appointment if you wish to be able to take a dog out of its kennel. Thank you!
