The only thing more distinctive about Letty than her botched ear job (perhaps the work of a Stephen King fan with scissors) is her absolute attachment to people. Letty is a 1-2 year old Staffordshire and Love Bug mix. Don’t be put off by this black dog with funny looking ears; rub Letty gently on her chest and she melts underneath your fingertips; during Letty’s trip to the vet our volunteer reported that Letty was “wonderful,” sitting quietly and observing all of the other pets in the lobby without making a sound. Letty devotes herself to her humans like a compass fixes north; it’s just not in Letty’s nature to be any other way; Letty will do best in a home where she will rarely be left alone; she will do best with a confident but gentle leader who doesn’t mind a Velcro dog, and who can channel Letty’s affection through exercise, a regular routine, positive reinforcement, and love. To reset your compass with Letty contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, call 814-918-2032, or email: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org.
Note: Volunteers who work with our dogs are not always at the rescue center during public hours. Please make an appointment if you wish to be able to take a dog out of its kennel. Thank you!
