Sweet and gentle Ben is a black shepherd mix with fur that’s as puffy and soft as cotton candy. Ben spent 6 years with the same family and through no fault of his own found himself at the shelter after a baby came along. Ben weighs in the 50 lb. range, is housetrained, walks well on leash, and responds to “stay,” “shake,” and “sit.” If you come to visit, Ben may try to hide in the back of his kennel; he’s a shy fellow who seems to prefer the ladies–he takes longer to warm up to men, but Ben has 2 things in his favor: maturity and manners. Ben just wants to be claimed as a cherished member of the family; he’s waiting right now for you to discover what a treasure he is. To meet Ben, contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, call 814-918-2032, or email: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org
Volunteers that work with dogs are not always at the rescue center during public hours. Please make an appointment if you wish to be able to take a dog out of its kennel. Thank you!
