Rudy

Rudy is a handsome, playful, one and half year old Rottweiler/Lab mix who came to us because his people abandoned him in an apartment after they were evicted. Weighing in the 50 lb. range or less, Rudy has many of the features of a “standard sized” Rottweiler and looks built to last, but like a compact SUV, he comes in a much smaller version. He could even be described as “budget,” or “pocket sized.” While we are not sure about his history with cats, Rudy did live with another dog; he’s happy to meet new people and plays well with one volunteer’s 9 year old son. Rudy’s favorite past time is chasing the balls you toss for him and bringing them back to you. There isn’t anything this boy doesn’t love except perhaps being cooped up in his kennel.
If you would like to meet Rudy, please visit during our public hours or call ahead to make sure a dog volunteer is there.
