Landing in your local shelter simply because you outlived your family seems so unfair, but that’s exactly what happened to Scooter. Scooter is a gentle Lab and Golden Retriever mix who is comfortable being around kids and cats. Even though he’s fallen on his own difficult times, with his quiet demeanor and unassuming presence, Scooter has lots of experience making people feel that everything is going to be just fine. Technically a senior dog, Scooter still has lots of life to live; he’d like to share it with someone who understands that some things just get better with age. Show him some kindness and a soft spot to land at the end of the day and he’ll give you his heart. To share an unhurried pace with Scooter contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, call 814-918-2032, or email: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org
NOTE: Volunteers who work with our dogs are not always at the rescue center during public hours. Please make an appointment to see Scooter outside of the kennel.
