Peanut is a 6 year old, male Chi/Dachshund mix brought to the rescue when is owner sadly had a stroke & was unable to care for him anymore. Peanut is now on his journey to find a forever home. Obesity is dangerous for a dogs joints and heart health so Peanut will start short daily walks and begin a contolled diet. He is a sweet, quiet boy who enjoys following volunteers around the yard and being petted, and whimpers when he has to go back into his kennel. Peanut is reportedly house trained, crate trained, neutered and up to date on vaccines. He has a lot of life left to live so if you think you would be the perfect fit to help Peanut become the the healthy , happy dog he deserves to be please contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center.
