Lacey & Lovey are the sister duo of the original four “Mud Puppies” surrendered to the shelter about 2 months ago. Step inside the shelter & you will catch a glimpse of these two standing on tip toes, peeking out the puppy room door, singing duets as they welcome you. Before arriving at the shelter, these 8 month old, Border Collie & Poodle mix dogs had never worn a collar or leash, had never been inside, were never even given names. Over the past several weeks, the dogs have rewarded volunteers with their sweet, gentle natures & are responding eagerly to something they have never had before: love & attention. Lacey & Lovey are now ready to find their new forever home. These gals are a bonded pair—meaning they eat together, play together, follow each other, & curl up together at night. So we would like them to stay together. Both are very friendly; Lacey is a bit more calm, & loves to be brushed. Lovey is more energetic & is always eager to get out to the yard to play. Lacey & Lovey have been vetted, spayed, & scheduled for grooming. If you have room in your heart & home for double the flavor & double the love, please contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, call 814-918-2032, or email: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org
