SPAY / NEUTER CLINICS

WHY SHOULD YOU CONSIDER SPAYING AND NEUTERING?

Tri-County Animal Rescue Center is committed to reducing the overpopulation of canines and felines through education and by hosting low cost spay and neuter clinics throughout the year. We partner with Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic, also known as Animal Welfare Council of the Alleghenies, to bring affordable services to Clarion and surrounding counties. Why should you consider spaying and neutering your pets or community animals?

  • You can help reduce the chance of unwanted/unplanned litters.
  • You can help reduce or eliminate the risk of certain reproductive cancers.
  • You can help reduce unwanted behaviors like urine marking, roaming, aggression, mounting and loud vocalizations.
  • You can help reduce the number of stray cats and dogs in the community which could cause property damage, spread disease, and ultimately overcrowd our already overcrowded shelters.
